Description
NL5 Haze Mist is a standout in its own lineage, with a rich heritage but one notable ancestor missing from its family tree. This highly resinous strain results from crossing the classic NL5 with Haze, Skunk, and Kali Mist. NL5 Haze Mist is known for its tall stature and robust growth, coupled with a distinctive aroma and a relatively short flowering time for a predominantly Sativa strain. Its growth structure is typically Sativa, with long branches that can enhance productivity, especially when given ample space.
Ideal for the ScrOG (Screen of Green) method and Low Stress Training (LST), NL5 Haze Mist thrives in hydroponic systems but also performs well when grown outdoors. When cultivated hydroponically, it benefits from a slight increase in phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) during weeks 3 to 7 of flowering. Gradually raising the pH from 5.5 during the vegetative stage to 6.5 at the end of flowering promotes excellent yields and resin production. Full maturation takes around 11 weeks, and it’s crucial to allow this period for the strain to develop its complex terpene and flavonoid profile, which gives NL5 Haze Mist its unique aroma of sandalwood, incense, musk, and forest berries.
Outdoors, NL5 Haze Mist reaches full maturity by mid to late October, yielding impressive results. The buds are dense, resembling a cluster of combined individual calyxes. The flavor of the smoke mirrors its scent, featuring pronounced incense and woodsy notes. The initial effect is a trippy, uplifting high, which then transitions into a soothing physical relaxation. This cannabinoid profile makes NL5 Haze Mist effective for alleviating arthritis, spasms, anxiety, pain, tension, and cramps.
